Time / Tiden is a photographic and conceptual work that explores how identity, racism, and belonging are experienced across generations. Created together with the artist’s son, the work reflects on how social structures and exclusion shape the lives of second-generation immigrants in Sweden.

By placing time as both a personal and political dimension, the work addresses how lived experiences are inherited, repeated, and transformed. Time / Tiden connects the intimate relationship between parent and child with broader questions of visibility, representation, and belonging.
